Guide For Authors
Submission of Camera-Ready Papers

In order to be considered for inclusion in the conference programme and the IET Digital Library, authors of accepted papers must submit their Final Camera-Ready manuscripts (maximum 6 pages) by the deadline of 31st May 2014, and must comply with the guidelines outlined below:

  • All accepted papers (Oral & Poster) will be included in the conference proceedings and forwarded to the IET for inclusion in their Digital Library, with the final acceptance conditional upon at least one author of each paper completing the conference registration and payment process on or before the early registration deadline (1st June 2014 17h00 UTC +01h00) and presenting the paper/poster at the conference.
  • Each paper submission was reviewed by members of the Scientific Programme Committee and judged on the following:
    • Relevance
    • Significance
    • Novelty
    • Technical Correctness
    • Experimental/Evidential Support
    • Clarity of Presentation
    • Reference to Prior Work and Publications
  • If you have not already done so, please log onto your ISSC 2014 Account to view reviewers’ comments of your paper(s). You should take these comments into account when preparing your final camera-ready manuscript. Please check your final manuscript for spelling/grammatical mistakes, and avoid using ALL CAPITALS in your paper title.
  • To achieve a consistent appearance across all papers, the following paper templates are provided:
  • Do not include page numbers, or use headers or footers on the pages. Papers should be no more than 6 pages in length. Please note that the online submission system will accept PDF format documents only.
  • Please ensure that you acknowledge the research project sponsor/funding agency where appropriate.
IET Copyright Form

When submitting your final Camera-Ready paper, we also require that you attach a completed IET copyright form. This form is available below. As we will require your signature, we suggest that you fill out the form, print it, scan it to a single PDF file and upload the completed PDF along with your Final Camera-Ready Paper PDF file.

Please note that the IET will NOT publish any paper without a complete and signed IET Copyright form. Insert the following details when completing the IET copyright form:

  • Content: Title of your paper
  • The Contributor: Name of 1st or corresponding author who signs the form
  • Delivery Date: 26th – 27th June 2014
  • Other Contributors: Names of other authors
How To Submit Your Final Camera-Ready Paper
  • Login or Create an ISSC 2014 account.
  • On your Dashboard, click on the title of your paper.
  • Click on "Submit Final (Camera Ready) Paper"
  • Ensure that your paper title, abstract, list of all authors (including email addresses of each author) and topics are correct -The information should be identical to that in the PDF you upload. Also check that the "presenting author" is correctly identified.
  • Attach the IET copyright form.
  • Attach the PDF version of your paper.
What To Do Next ?
  • Register to Attend the Conference: At least one author for each paper must register on or before the early registration deadline (1st June 2014 17h00 UTC +01h00) and attend ISSC 2014/CIICT2014 in order to present the paper/poster. Failure to register for the conference by the above date may result in the paper being excluded from the conference proceedings and IET Digital Library and related indexing. Click here to Register. (Presenters that do not register on or before this date will have to pay additional charges and may have their paper removed from the proceedings altogether).
